SLED Sales Engineer Central Texas

What you'll do

• Advise SLED customers and lead discovery, workshops, executive briefings, and complex technical opportunities.
• Architect and present networking solutions, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and business value proposals throughout the sales cycle.
• Mentor sales engineering peers and collaborate with account teams, partners, and delivery organizations to support customer outcomes and revenue growth.

What they ask for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant experience in enterprise networking, solution architecture, and technical presales.
• Strong expertise in LAN, WLAN, routing, switching, network security, and network management technologies.
• Ability to lead complex technical sales opportunities and present strategies and business value to technical and nontechnical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting SLED customers and knowledge of public-sector procurement, funding, contracts, or compliance.
• Experience with HPE Aruba Networking, Juniper Networks, or comparable solutions; advanced certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, CWNE, or CISSP.

Pay

USD 175,000 - 411,500 annual combined base and target-level sales compensation (75%/25% mix; paid at 100% sales plan).
