About the job
Designs and maintains high-performance FPGA compute and networking systems for electronic trading, owning RTL design from specification through implementation.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, optimize, and maintain FPGA systems; manage RTL through synthesis and implementation.
- Collaborate with verification engineers on test plans and improve development processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers.
What they ask for
- BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of digital logic design experience for FPGAs or ASICs.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog (preferred) or VHDL; understanding of computer architecture and digital design.
- Experience with simulation and debugging tools such as VCS or Verdi, and comfort working in Linux.
Nice to have
- Experience with Xilinx and/or Altera FPGAs, FPGA optimization, networking protocols, or high-speed interfaces.
- Familiarity with C programming and scripting in Python and/or Perl.
Pay
$90,000 to $216,000 USD annual base salary
