About the job
Develop and validate signal- and power-integrity designs for high-performance ASIC platforms, including PCB, package, SERDES, and power-delivery systems.
What you'll do
- Develop SI/PI solutions and analyze high-speed PCB, BGA, and package designs using system-level simulations and post-layout analysis.
- Analyze and guide ASIC power delivery across the full power train, including static/DC and dynamic/AC behavior.
- Automate analysis workflows and collaborate with internal teams and external design partners on design requirements and tradeoffs.
What they ask for
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in signal integrity, power integrity, or both for high-performance electronic systems, including high-speed SERDES links at 28+ Gbps and high-current (>500 amp) ASIC power supply design.
- Strong fundamentals in electromagnetics, transmission lines, and PCB/package design; proficiency with SI/PI CAE and circuit-simulation tools.
- Python programming or scripting automation experience for analysis, validation, or debugging.
Nice to have
- PAM4 at 56/112+ Gbps; experience with 2.5D packages, board/package layout, or PDN evaluation.
- Familiarity with lab measurement equipment, including VNAs, TDRs, and high-speed oscilloscopes.
