About the job
Build, test, and optimize ultra-low-latency trading networks and infrastructure across global exchange colocation sites.
What you'll do
- Establish a network testing lab and build automated benchmarks to evaluate network hardware and protocols.
- Develop Python pipelines and tools to analyze packet captures and telemetry, identify anomalies, and report latency distributions.
- Architect and maintain low-latency trading networks, including routing, multicast, and time-synchronization systems.
What they ask for
- 10+ years designing and operating ultra-low-latency networks in HFT, market making, or quantitative fund environments.
- Advanced Python skills for processing large PCAP datasets, time-series telemetry, and microsecond/nanosecond statistics.
- Hands-on experience building network testing labs and using hardware traffic generators and packet capture tools.
- Deep knowledge of BGP/OSPF, Linux network stack tuning, PTP (IEEE 1588), White Rabbit, PIM-SSM multicast, and large-scale L2/L3 topologies.
Nice to have
- Experience with FPGA-driven low-latency applications or custom accelerator cards in high-performance trading environments.
