About the job

Designs, integrates, and tunes the hardware and software control systems that give LeLamp expressive, responsive movement.

What you'll do

  • Design and tune motion-control systems and develop control algorithms from simulation through hardware deployment.
  • Integrate actuators, sensors, encoders, and embedded electronics; debug real hardware and control issues.
  • Build URDF models and simulations, develop expressive motion behaviors, and document control architecture and tuning decisions.

What they ask for

  • Master’s/PhD (or equivalent experience) in robotics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience tuning control systems on real robotic hardware.
  • Fluency in C++ and/or Python for robotics or embedded control work.
  • Experience with ROS or ROS2 and real-time robotics software stacks.

Nice to have

  • Experience with impedance, torque, or whole-body control; sensor fusion, state estimation, or Kalman filtering; embedded programming; or expressive robot motion.
  • Experience with CAD, URDF models and simulators, actuators and sensors, or hardware debugging tools.

Tools

C++, Python, ROS, ROS2, SolidWorks, Onshape, Gazebo, MuJoCo
