About the job

Design, integrate, and tune the hardware and software control systems that enable LeLamp to move and respond expressively.

What you'll do

  • Design and tune control systems and integrate actuators, sensors, and embedded electronics.
  • Develop control algorithms and URDF models, and deploy and debug them on physical hardware and in simulation.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to develop motion behaviors and document control architecture and tuning decisions.

What they ask for

  • Hands-on experience tuning control systems on real robotic hardware.
  • Fluency in C++ and/or Python for robotics or embedded control work.
  • Experience with ROS or ROS2 and real-time robotics software stacks.
  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Software Engineering.

Nice to have

  • Experience with URDF models and simulators such as Gazebo, MuJoCo, or Isaac Sim.
  • Experience with impedance, torque, or whole-body control on physical robots; sensor fusion, state estimation, or Kalman filtering; embedded controls; or expressive robot motion.

Tools

C++, Python, ROS, ROS2, SolidWorks, Onshape, Gazebo, MuJoCo
