Fine-tunes and evaluates Iambic’s multimodal transformer for clinical predictions that support drug discovery and development.

What you'll do

  • Source, curate, and evaluate clinical datasets for outcome, safety, toxicity, and PK/PD prediction.
  • Build leakage-resistant experiments, benchmarks, and calibrated models with clinically meaningful evaluation metrics.
  • Work with ML, software, clinical, and pharmacology colleagues to deploy models and communicate findings.

What they ask for

  • MS in chemistry, bio/chemical engineering, or a computational STEM field with 3+ years of relevant industry or research experience, or PhD or equivalent industry experience demonstrating comparable depth.
  • Strong Python experience implementing and fine-tuning deep learning models.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical science or working with clinical datasets.
  • Strong data science and engineering skills, including reproducible experimentation, control strategies, clean code, and testing.

Nice to have

  • Experience building and deploying clinically relevant prediction models.
  • Familiarity with ClinicalTrials.gov/AACT, MedDRA, pharmacovigilance, adverse event data, multi-task learning, agentic data extraction, or HPC/large-scale computing.
