About the job
Architect and operate AWS, Kubernetes, network, and edge infrastructure to scale iCapital’s platform, using automation and consistent architectural standards.
What you'll do
- Design and improve Kubernetes architecture and manage cluster lifecycle.
- Build and manage cloud networking and external connectivity, including Transit Gateway, Network Firewall, CDN, DNS, and TLS strategies.
- Create reference architectures and design documents, and partner with teams to establish and adopt platform standards.

- 8+ years of experience in platform, cloud, or infrastructure engineering, with demonstrated architectural responsibility.
- Strong hands-on experience designing and operating production Kubernetes platforms, including autoscaling, node provisioning, and security on EKS.
- Deep understanding of AWS infrastructure, networking architecture, security primitives, managed services, VPC design, routing, and scaling.
- Strong understanding of ingress/egress, TGW design, and private connectivity.
Nice to have
- Deep expertise in Kong or other API Gateways, or production experience managing Akamai.
- Experience with Bottlerocket, Karpenter, Auto-mode, application design, or Python; AWS/Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
Pay
$150,000 to $190,000 USD base salary
