Independently commissions, troubleshoots, and maintains ICON’s 3D printers and related systems, while coordinating complex field tasks and mentoring junior technicians.
What you'll do
- Commission, maintain, and troubleshoot printers and related electrical, mechanical, software, and control systems; perform preventive maintenance and analyze performance data.
- Coordinate complex tasks safely, document repairs and shift handoffs, and work with Print Operators and cross-functional teams.
- Train and mentor Field Engineering Technician I employees; travel for extended periods and work nights or weekends as needed.

- Ability to read wiring diagrams and terminate cables; strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and control systems.

- Willingness to travel outside Miami, including extended stays, and be available for on-call, nights, and weekends.
Nice to have
- Advanced proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and electrical troubleshooting, including equipment replacement and manual controls.
- Experience in remote device operation and system navigation; proficiency in welding (various types).
