Designs, analyzes, builds, and tests high-performance turbomachinery for a liquid rocket engine.
What you'll do
- Design and size turbomachinery components and secondary fluid flowpaths, including inducers, impellers, turbines, bearings, seals, and coolant paths.
- Perform detailed structural analysis and collaborate with design and build teams to ensure hardware is manufacturable, low cost, and reliable.
- Work with manufacturing and test teams on turbopump assembly, production, and testing.
