About the job

Develop and improve large-scale machine learning and generative models that design therapeutic biomolecules, translating model capabilities into potential therapeutic designs.

What you'll do

  • Develop, implement, train, and improve biomolecule-design models.
  • Analyze and communicate results; build tools for reliable ML experimentation and production.
  • Work with biologists to collect training and evaluation data, and provide mentorship and technical direction as appropriate.

What they ask for

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing ML models.
  • Demonstrated track record implementing, training, and improving advanced machine learning models.
  • Fluency in the Python ecosystem and PyTorch or a similar deep learning framework.
  • Availability for cross-region meetings (8am PT to 7pm CET), readiness to travel several times a year, and primarily working from an office location.

Nice to have

  • PhD in a listed related field, or equivalent practical experience; strong ML experiment design and modern generative-model experience.
  • Experience with large-scale/foundation-model training, bio sequence data, or relevant biology and drug development.
