What you'll do

• Lead integration of AI models and services into complex, mission-critical software environments and develop intelligent data-processing and NLP pipelines.
• Establish AI-augmented engineering standards and demonstrate techniques that improve productivity and software quality.
• Prototype AI use cases and tools, and mentor engineering teams in generative AI workflows.

What they ask for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent full-time professional experience.
• Daily use of generative AI coding tools and ability to assess AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance.
• Expert-level experience with agent-based development, LLM APIs, RAG architectures, vector databases, model evaluation, and AI-assisted engineering.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI-augmented developer tooling, using LLM orchestration frameworks, integrating AI into DevSecOps, or operating self-hosted LLMs in secure environments.
• Experience with complex DoW systems or familiarity with US Navy and US Army tactical systems.

$198,000 - $328,000 USD base salary
