What you'll do

  • Manage defect metrology coverage, data collection, and data quality for an assigned process segment.
  • Investigate defect trends, identify root causes, and develop and qualify process fixes and defect-reduction roadmaps.
  • Develop metrology recipes and response plans, support yield objectives, and communicate defect findings to engineering teams.

What they ask for

  • Master’s degree plus 3+ years of experience, or PhD plus 1+ years of experience, in a listed engineering or science field.
  • At least 1+ years of experience in experimental research, including designing and conducting experiments, operating equipment, and analyzing statistical data.
  • At least 1+ years of experience with materials characterization or fabrication, metrology, and statistical or data analysis.
  • At least 1+ years of experience with semiconductor processing fundamentals, device physics and design of experiments, and complex problem-solving methodologies.

Nice to have

  • At least 1+ years’ experience in defect metrology, defect improvement, yield improvement, or process integration; or experience with SPC or DOE principles.
