About the job

Design and validate silicon spin-qubit processors, developing their design rules, PDKs, automation, routing, and signal-integrity capabilities through tapeout and fab integration.

What you'll do

  • Develop qubit and readout design rules, standard cells, PDKs, models, and customized EDA capabilities.
  • Build design automation and place-and-route flows, including AI- and machine-learning-based routing optimization; analyze signal integrity, crosstalk, and design tradeoffs.
  • Execute processor designs from PDK implementation through tapeout and fab, including validation, test structures, and collaboration on system interfaces.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience, Master's degree plus 3 years of experience, or a Ph.D. in a stated or related engineering field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in at least one listed area: EM modeling and signal-integrity analysis; standard-cell design and automation; digital design and APR routing; foundry-PDK design and validation; or PDK collateral and design-flow implementation.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • At least 1 year in one or more listed areas, including quantum-device measurement, process integration, cryogenic systems, RFIC or superconducting-circuit design, Python automation, AI/ML routing, or EDA vendor collaboration.

Pay

$141,910.00-269,100.00 USD (target compensation; type not specified)

Tools

SKILL, VSR, MSOA, TCL, Python, DRC, ERC, LVS, PEX

AI focus

Develop automated place-and-route flows, including AI- and machine-learning-based routing optimization for large I/O counts; AI/ML routing experience is preferred.
