Cloud Software Engineer 3 - III

What you'll do

• Develops, enhances, tests, and troubleshoots cloud software components against documented requirements.
• Contributes to system and software design, including requirements analysis, technology trade-offs, and software reuse.
• Works independently or with a team and documents test results.

What they ask for

• 12 years of software engineering experience on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity; a master's degree may substitute for 2 years, and Cloudera Certified Hadoop Developer certification may substitute for 1 year of cloud experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or 4 years of similar Big-Data cloud software engineering experience as a substitute; 4 years of the experience must involve Big-Data cloud technologies and/or Distributed Computing.
• Required cloud experience includes 2 years in Cloud and/or Distributed Computing Information Retrieval and 1 year each in Cloud Big Table, Cloud Distributed File System, complex MapReduce analytics, Cloud Distributed Coordination Frameworks, cloud solution architecture, debugging cloud distributed frameworks, and managing multi-node cloud installations.
• Experience across the stated areas of computer network operations, information assurance, Java and object-oriented development, cloud/distributed computing, information retrieval, data ingestion and analysis, Linux, and SIGINT is required.

Nice to have

• In-depth Information Retrieval and cloud MapReduce workflow expertise.
• Experience overseeing development tasks, improving development processes, or recommending technologies for complex cloud projects.
