Senior Staff Software Engineer - Backend

What you'll do

• Drive end-to-end technology initiatives and architect durable, scalable applications and systems.
• Integrate AI into applications, launch integrations in production, and evaluate performance and user satisfaction using metrics.
• Set development best practices, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with global cross-functional teams.

What they ask for

• 10+ years of experience delivering enterprise-class applications.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related area, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in mid-tier languages like Java; experience with scalable application development, testing, and relational database design and implementation.
• Practical experience with microservices, container technologies and management systems, cloud environments, and building or integrating AI models.

Nice to have

• Interest in building CI/CD pipelines.
• Prior experience in utility computing and/or cloud computing.

Pay

Mountain View: $220,500 - $298,500 USD base salary
