Sr. Staff Data Scientist, Lending

What you'll do

• Set analytics strategy across lending initiatives and influence senior cross-functional leaders with actionable insights.
• Design complex experiments, apply causal inference, and develop reusable methodologies and customer segmentation strategies.
• Shape the lending AI roadmap, guide measurement and rollout, and mentor data scientists while advancing scalable analytics tools.

What they ask for

• 9+ years of experience in data science and analytics, driving strategy and impact across multiple initiatives or business units.
• Expertise in predictive/prescriptive modeling, causal inference, customer segmentation, and experimentation design.
• Advanced SQL; hands-on visualization experience such as Tableau; strong modeling skills in Python or R; and data workflow management experience.
• BS or MS in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Econometrics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Fintech experience, especially in lending, credit cards, or marketplaces.
• Advanced degree; lending product knowledge; or familiarity with AI model metrics and the AI development lifecycle.

Mountain View: USD 210,500 - 284,500 base salary; San Francisco Howard Street, CA: USD 210,500- USD 284,500 base salary
