About the job
Develops loads, structural dynamics, and multibody dynamics analyses for a reentry vehicle, from early architecture through hardware qualification and production.
What you'll do
- Define load cases and dynamic environments, and develop models for vehicle structures, mechanisms, separation, and deployment.
- Translate analysis into design requirements, sizing inputs, interface loads, and architecture decisions; support testing and correlate simulations with test data.
- Conduct dynamic trade studies and present analysis progress, technical risks, and recommendations in design reviews.
