About the job
Own and develop flight software components for reentry spacecraft, from design and implementation through testing and deployment.
What you'll do
- Develop spacecraft software for drivers, networking, fault management, and attitude-control interfaces.
- Plan and run hardware- and software-in-the-loop, integration, and unit tests.
- Support the software organization through interviewing, mentoring, and onboarding engineers and interns.
What they ask for
- 5+ years of software development experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience with a systems-level language such as Rust, C++, or C.
- Experience in a Linux development environment and with software-development practices and tools, including version control, code reviews, issue tracking, and CI/CD.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret/Top Secret security clearance.
Nice to have
- Experience with safety-critical or fault-tolerant systems.
- Spacecraft or flight-hardware experience, or familiarity with Python for testing and tooling.
