Designs and develops mechanical hardware for spacecraft and hypersonic programs, from CAD and prototype builds through fabrication and integration.
What you'll do
- Design mechanical systems, structures, brackets, enclosures, mounts, mechanisms, and tooling; own CAD models, drawings, release packages, and bills of materials.
- Support prototype design, hands-on integration, fit checks, and build issue resolution; coordinate with manufacturing, test, technicians, vendors, and suppliers.
- Drive design tradeoffs across performance, manufacturability, schedule, and cost.
