Develops, integrates, tests, and verifies flight and ground RF/telemetry systems for reentry vehicles, from link analysis and component selection through mission-readiness validation.
What you'll do
- Create communication link budgets, model antenna radiation patterns, and simulate RF performance in flight and reentry environments.
- Select and qualify RF components; lead lab and vehicle-level testing, telemetry validation, and ground station setup.
- Own RF test systems and plans, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and prepare regulatory licensing documentation.
