Owns air and water environmental permitting for data center construction, commissioning, and operations, coordinating regulators and project teams and handing over compliance obligations to Operations.
What you'll do
- Develop and manage permitting strategy, schedules, applications, agency engagement, budgets, and status reporting.
- Translate permit conditions into construction and commissioning requirements, track compliance, and resolve permitting impacts from design changes.
- Prepare permit and compliance handover packages and train Operations on ongoing obligations.

- Experience securing air permits for stationary combustion sources and stormwater, wastewater, or water supply approvals, including direct state and federal agency interaction.

- Knowledge of air permitting pathways and standards, stormwater and wastewater permitting, water rights, or wetlands and site environmental permitting.
- Data center or mission-critical project exposure; multi-state permitting experience; relevant professional or project management certification; Primavera P6, Procore, or SAP familiarity.
