About the job

Build and maintain the software connecting sensors, robots, and machine-learning systems, from robot runtime and infrastructure to engineering and operator tools.

What you'll do

  • Develop sensor and actuator interfaces, robot runtime, and data pipelines.
  • Improve performance across Linux, networking, storage, camera pipelines, and compute; build deployment and test workflows.
  • Bring up systems with hardware, ML, and operations teams, and diagnose and address failures on real equipment.

What they ask for

  • Experience building and maintaining software that interacts with hardware, sensors, or timing-sensitive systems.
  • Strong Python and proficiency in C++ or Rust for performance-sensitive work.
  • Practical Linux experience and systematic profiling, testing, and debugging skills.
  • Ability to take a loosely defined problem through implementation and validation on real equipment.

Nice to have

  • Robotics middleware, camera calibration, or sensor synchronization.
  • Serving ML models under latency constraints, or building data infrastructure and tools for technicians and operators.

Pay

$150,000–$200,000 per year (base salary)
