Supports the cardiac surgical team at Jefferson Health’s Abington campus by preparing and maintaining the sterile field, assisting during procedures, and coordinating perioperative support.
What you'll do
- Prepare the operating room, equipment, instruments, and sterile field; assist with gowning and gloving and maintain sterile-field integrity.
- Anticipate surgical needs, participate in counts with the circulating nurse, and clean instruments for terminal sterilization.
- Support patient safety and perioperative teamwork, maintain supplies and equipment, and precept other surgical team members as needed.

- BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association.
