Assists pharmacists with preparing, dispensing, distributing, and documenting medications for inpatient and outpatient services.
What you'll do
- Prepares medication orders, compounds and repackages pharmaceuticals, and uses aseptic techniques to prepare and transport IVs.
- Replenishes Pyxis machines, specialty and code carts, and pharmacy and unit inventory; checks storage conditions and expiration dates.
- Performs medication billing and crediting, waste documentation, inspections, and other required monitoring.
