What you'll do

• Coordinate patient care and flow, including admissions, transfers, and discharges, and serve as a clinical resource to the care team.
• Monitor staffing and schedules, address staffing gaps, and collaborate with the Nurse Manager on payroll and staff performance.
• Support nursing development and quality improvement, mentor colleagues, and provide patient care when needed.

What they ask for

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Specialized Diploma.
• At least 3 years as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice; Pennsylvania RN licensure is specified.
• Knowledge and skills in communication, care coordination, patient safety, medication administration, discharge planning, assessment, and health information documentation.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s Degree BSN or completion of BSN or appropriate advanced degree within 3 years of hire strongly preferred.
• Certification in specialty.
