About the job
Provides chairside surgical assistance for oral and maxillofacial surgery and facial pain procedures, including instrument sterilization, radiography, patient record maintenance, and safety compliance.
What you'll do
- Assist surgeons chairside and maintain sterile technique during procedures; prepare and sterilize instruments and trays.
- Take, order, and document CBCT, periapical, and Panorex radiographs; maintain patient electronic medical records and required inspection and certification logs.
- Follow clinical safety and infection-control workflows, maintain current BLS certification, and travel between Center City and Navy Yard offices.
