Provides patient- and family-centered nursing care, develops individualized care plans, and supports safe, coordinated care in the Labor & Delivery unit on night shifts.
What you'll do
- Assess patients and develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, incorporating evidence-based practice and patient preferences.
- Educate patients and their care partners, coordinate care with interprofessional teams, and document and monitor care outcomes.
- Follow nursing protocols, support quality and safety improvement, and precept appropriate staff.
