About the job
Assists with fluoroscopic and digital equipment and circulates and monitors during procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
What you'll do
- Prepare the lab and assist the cardiologist and/or nurse by circulating and supplying items during procedures.
- Maintain sterility of the field and lab.
- Produce high-quality images and ensure they are transferred to the archive server.
What they ask for
- Specialized diploma from an accredited cardiovascular science school, or from an accredited radiation technology school with cardiovascular experience.
- ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- RVT or RT registration through the stated certifying organization.
- RCIS certification through Cardiovascular Credentialing International within 180 days.
Nice to have
- Associate’s degree in cardiovascular science, or in radiation technology with cardiovascular experience.
- 2 years of experience with invasive cardiology or interventional radiology.
