Supports physicians in an internal medicine office by assisting with patient examinations and procedures, documenting clinical information, and managing patient flow and supplies.
What you'll do
- Escort patients, verify identification, and document vital signs, clinical quality measures, and medical history.
- Assist with examinations and diagnostic procedures, including EKGs, venipuncture, and injections, within scope of practice.
- Maintain clinical supplies and use office information systems while following HIPAA requirements.
