Provides front-desk support at an outpatient neurosurgery practice, including patient check-in and check-out, scheduling, information verification, and maintaining patient flow.
What you'll do
- Processes check-in/check-out, point-of-service activities, and appointment scheduling via EPIC.
- Greets and assists patients and visitors in person and by phone; verifies insurance, referrals, and demographic information.
- Maintains efficient practice flow, escalates concerns as appropriate, and follows HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
