Prepares, compounds, and distributes medications for inpatient and outpatient services while supporting pharmacy inventory, documentation, and daily workflow.
What you'll do
- Prepare physician drug orders for pharmacist review; count, compound, repackage, and dispense medications, including sterile IV preparations.
- Restock Pyxis machines, pharmacy inventory, nursing units, and specialty and code carts; monitor storage conditions and medication expiration dates.
- Complete medication billing, waste documentation, inspections, and required competency and safety records.
