Performs diagnostic x-ray imaging, supports patients before, during, and after procedures, and maintains radiation safety and imaging records.
What you'll do
- Position radiographic equipment to produce images that support diagnosis and treatment; explain procedures and obtain relevant patient history.
- Protect patients and staff by following radiation-safety standards and applicable regulations and clinical protocols.
- Maintain x-ray equipment and accurate patient and study information, including RIS/PACS records.
