Provides individualized, patient- and family-centered nursing care for patients on a medical/surgical oncology unit, including assessment, treatment, education, and discharge planning.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, applying evidence-based practice and established nursing protocols.
- Educate patients and care partners, coordinate care with interprofessional teams, and support safe transitions and discharge planning.
- Document and monitor care outcomes, participate in quality and safety improvement, and serve as a preceptor to appropriate staff.
