About the job
Provides individualized nursing care to observation-unit patients, coordinating treatment, education, discharge planning, and quality and safety practices with patients, families, and the care team.
What you'll do
- Assess patients and develop individualized nursing plans of care in collaboration with patients and designated care partners.
- Administer care and educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications, and recovery; coordinate discharge planning.
- Promote safe, evidence-based care through teamwork, documentation, quality improvement, and participation in committees.
