About the job
Administers respiratory care, assesses and monitors patients with respiratory disorders, and coordinates treatment with physicians and other healthcare staff.
What you'll do
- Administers prescribed respiratory therapy, including oxygen, medications, PFTs, ABGs, and mechanical ventilation.
- Evaluates respiratory care needs, monitors ventilated patients, and recommends treatment based on department protocols.
- Collects and analyzes specimens, communicates diagnostic results, and coordinates patient care with the healthcare team.

- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Care.
- Licensed by the State Board of Medicine or State Board of Osteopathic Medicine.
- Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support/BLS.
- Associate's/2-year degree required; NBRC registration required, or must be obtained within 2 years of hire if not already registered.
Nice to have
