Researches, resolves, and reconciles payment and posting issues across the revenue cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments and adjustments.
What you'll do
- Investigate payment issues, review explanations of benefits, and contact payors or use portals to obtain information.
- Apply payments and adjustments to patient accounts; validate postings and research credit balances.
- Link cash records to payment batches and ensure batches are posted, reconciled, and closed accurately and on time.
