About the job
Administers respiratory care to patients with respiratory and pulmonary disorders, assesses their needs and progress, and coordinates treatment with physicians and other health care staff.
What you'll do
- Administer prescribed respiratory therapy, including oxygen, respiratory medication, PFTs, ABGs, and mechanical ventilation.
- Assess and monitor patients, perform diagnostic procedures, and recommend care based on findings and department protocols.
- Document patient care and coordinate with the health care team to support continuity and quality of care.

- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Care.
- Licensed by the State Board of Medicine or State Board of Osteopathic Medicine.
- Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support/BLS.
- Associate's/2-year degree; NBRC registration required, or must be obtained within 2 years of hire if not already registered.
