About the job
Administers respiratory care to patients with pulmonary disorders, evaluates their condition and treatment needs, monitors outcomes, and coordinates care with physicians and other health professionals.
What you'll do
- Administers prescribed respiratory treatments and procedures, including oxygen, medications, PFTs, ABGs, and mechanical ventilation.
- Assesses patients, monitors ventilated patients, and recommends care based on evaluation and diagnostic results.
- Documents care and coordinates with the health care team to support continuity and quality of care.

- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Care.
- Licensed by the State Board of Medicine or State Board of Osteopathic Medicine.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support/BLS certification.
- Associate's/2-year degree; registered by the NBRC, or obtain NBRC registration within 2 years of hire.
Nice to have
- ACLS and/or NALS.
