About the job
Administers and monitors respiratory care for patients with pulmonary disorders, evaluates treatment effectiveness, and documents care in accordance with standards and regulations.
What you'll do
- Administers prescribed respiratory therapies, including oxygen, medications, PFTs, ABGs, and mechanical ventilation.
- Assesses patients, monitors ventilator care, performs diagnostic procedures, and recommends treatment based on department protocols.
- Communicates with the healthcare team and documents patient care and diagnostic results.

- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Care.
- State license from the Board of Medicine or Board of Osteopathic Medicine; Basic Cardiac Life Support/BLS certification.
- Associate's/2-year degree.
- Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care; if not registered at hire, must obtain NBRC registration within 2 years.
Nice to have
- ACLS and/or NALS.
- Prior experience.
