Provides intraoperative support for surgical teams, maintains the sterile field, and assists with patient care and instrument processing in an operating room.
What you'll do
- Prepare the operating room, equipment, instruments, supplies, and sterile field; assist with gowning, gloving, and draping.
- Anticipate surgical team needs, perform counts with the circulating nurse, and support safe perioperative care and staff transitions.
- Clean and prepare instruments for sterilization, maintain supplies and the care environment, and precept other surgical team members.
