What you'll do
- Prepare the operating room, equipment, instruments, and supplies; assist with gowning, gloving, draping, and maintaining sterile field integrity.
- Anticipate the surgeon’s needs, perform surgical counts with the circulating nurse, and clean instruments for terminal sterilization.
- Support patients and the perioperative team, maintain supplies and a safe environment, and precept other surgical team members as needed.
