About the job
Install and commission residential heat pump systems, replacing gas furnaces and air-conditioning equipment while ensuring code compliance and a high-quality customer experience.
What you'll do
- Complete heat pump installations, including equipment removal, refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and charging.
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams, troubleshoot installations, and ensure work complies with local building codes.
- Communicate with homeowners, maintain vehicles and warehouse organization, and collaborate to improve installation processes.
What they ask for
- Residential HVAC installation experience, including work in physically demanding spaces.
- HVACR licence.
- EPA Section 608 Certification, required or actively in progress.
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics; knowledge of local building codes and refrigerant handling.
Nice to have
- Experience with heat pumps or mini-splits.
Pay
$28 - $36 per hour (base pay)
