Applied AI ML Engineer Lead

What you'll do

• Architect and deliver agent-based solutions and reusable services, libraries, and reference architectures.
• Translate business needs into research plans, success metrics, experiments, and scalable designs; evaluate and improve systems.
• Mentor AI engineers and researchers and partner with business and technology stakeholders to scale solutions responsibly.

What they ask for

• Formal training or certification in applied AI and machine learning concepts, plus 5+ years of applied experience.
• Master’s or Doctorate in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience designing reproducible ML experiments and evaluations, and deploying ML applications to production with monitoring, reliability, and lifecycle management.
• Strong software engineering skills, experience building reusable components, and experience with distributed computing and agent-workflow state management.

Nice to have

• Experience building and evaluating autonomous agent systems; experience with AWS SageMaker or Amazon Bedrock.
• Applied ML or generative AI research contributions, or familiarity with financial services and operational processes.

USD 171,000.00-$260,000.00 base salary (Palo Alto, CA); USD 171,000.00-$260,000.00 base salary (Jersey City, NJ)
