Assessments & Exercises - Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer

What you'll do

• Assess vulnerability impact, prioritize remediation, and conduct root cause analysis across technologies.
• Develop and implement technical, procedural, or educational mitigations; collaborate with stakeholders to address findings.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences, and use validated enterprise-authorized AI workflows to support evidence synthesis and reporting.

What they ask for

• Formal cybersecurity training or certificate and 5+ years of cybersecurity experience, including hands-on operator or analyst work.
• Hands-on cyber operations experience (such as SOC, threat hunting, detection and response, penetration testing, red teaming, or incident response); working knowledge of related disciplines and network architecture, including cloud.
• Experience developing tools and capabilities and building analytical processes, templates, and documentation.
• Demonstrated use of enterprise-authorized AI for assessment workflows, with validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity and security requirements.

Nice to have

• Coding or scripting experience, such as Python, C, JavaScript, or VBScript.
• Experience with enterprise security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, web proxies, DLP, SIEM, SOAR, or EDR/XDR.

Pay

USD 156,750.00-$260,000.00 base salary (Jersey City, NJ); USD 156,750.00-$260,000.00 base salary (Seattle, WA); USD 133,000.00-$225,000.00 base salary (Chicago, IL); USD 156,750.00-$260,000.00 base salary (New York, NY)
