Java Lead Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Designs, develops, troubleshoots, reviews, and debugs production software.
• Promotes team use of authorized AI-assisted tools, with validation standards for correctness, performance, security, and responsible handling of sensitive data.
• Improves operational stability through automation and evaluates external and internal technical solutions.

What they ask for

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability; advanced design skills.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more listed technologies, including Java, Spring, AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, MQ, Cassandra, Oracle, PowerMock, JMeter, Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace, or Jenkins.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies including AWS and Kubernetes, streaming or message-queuing systems, automation and continuous delivery, and leading responsible use of AI-assisted development tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Gemfire or Redis, Cucumber, Jenkins and Spinnaker, or databases such as Postgres, Oracle, or Mongo DB.
• Client relationship skills, hands-on AI experience, and ability to own delivery end to end.

Pay

USD 137,750.00-$185,000.00 base salary
