Lead Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, build, test, document, and maintain secure, reliable software; review and debug code and address performance or production issues.
• Contribute to architecture and technical roadmaps, and lead communities of practice to promote new technologies.
• Mentor engineers and guide safe, compliant use of AI-assisted development tools.

What they ask for

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability; advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery; advanced understanding of agile methods, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security; experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with enterprise desktop software configuration and packaging/distribution across relevant operating systems and globally distributed teams; demonstrated leadership and responsible use of approved AI-assisted development tools.

Nice to have

• Financial services industry and IT systems knowledge.
• Cloud and containerization technologies, data structures and algorithms, software design principles, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, or the Software Development Life Cycle.
