Lead Software Engineer - Java/Python

What you'll do

• Own solution architecture and translate business requirements into documented designs, integration patterns, and service contracts.
• Provide hands-on Java/Spring Boot and Python technical leadership, resolve production issues, and establish reusable engineering standards.
• Deliver production AI/ML patterns, partner with Data Science, and implement responsible AI controls and operational requirements.

• Java 11/17+ expertise, including Spring Boot microservices, API design, and testing.
• Python 3.x expertise for services, automation, and data/ML integration.
• Experience with distributed systems, data architecture, productionizing AI/ML, MLOps, CI/CD, security, and resiliency.

Nice to have

• Kubernetes/container platforms and cloud-native patterns.
• GenAI experience, including LLMs, RAG, vector search, evaluation frameworks, or prompt/model governance.

Pay

$156,750.00-$215,000.00 USD base salary
