Senior Director of Software Engineering - Global Payroll

What you'll do

• Owns Oracle HCM Payroll and Time platforms and ADP GlobalView/Celergo integration capabilities, including delivery, upgrades, reliability, and data integrity.
• Leads cross-functional teams and vendor governance, ensuring controls, compliance, resiliency, and operational readiness across global payroll technology.
• Sets multi-department strategy and guardrails for agentic AI-enabled engineering and SDLC/TLM automation.

What they ask for

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 10+ years of applied experience; 5+ years leading technologists.
• Deep experience delivering payroll technology in a large, highly regulated global enterprise spanning U.S. and multiple countries.
• Strong Oracle HCM Payroll and Time expertise, plus experience supporting ADP GlobalView and/or ADP Celergo ecosystems.
• Experience leading agentic AI-enabled engineering adoption, including governance, measurement, and secure handling of sensitive information.

Nice to have

• Experience working at code level and modernizing enterprise integrations.
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code, where approved.
