Senior Manager of Software Engineering - Java Full Stack

What you'll do

• Hire, coach, and develop engineers while providing hands-on technical leadership and owning architecture, delivery, reliability, and operational quality.
• Lead development of services, web applications, and data solutions; drive modernization, automation, CI/CD, and production readiness.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders, lead distributed teams, and establish governance for responsible AI-assisted development tools.

What they ask for

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience, plus 2+ years leading technologists.
• Hands-on engineering leadership with direct reports and technical ownership; production-grade Python and Java services, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems experience.
• Web development experience with HTML, JavaScript, and ReactJS; database experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Experience leading enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering tools, defining governance and quality controls, and applying responsible AI practices.

Nice to have

• AWS knowledge and/or certification; hands-on AWS experience.
• Experience leading modernization programs and applying secure-by-design engineering practices.
